Girl in the red dress

Girl in the red dress,
I can see you from here,
sitting there in front of me,
unknowingly innocently

But there you are again,
beautiful and breath-taking
wrapped in a slim red dress
of which power astounds me

I don’t know why
you’re so alluring
Oh my, oh my…
it’s beyond my understanding

Maybe it’s the color red
the longest wave length
the stir of blood
rouse of passion

But damn you’re so hot
hot and red and hot
like the lust of roses
covetousness of the late sun

Ah, am I dreaming?
aren’t I still?
because you’re everywhere
lately
and all I can do is watch and see
while everyone sees what I’m supposed to see
only I can’t really see
the girl in the red dress
You,
are,
mine.

: Wow! Finally! A poem of desire and selfishness. This is a writer's saying : I'm currently sitting in front of a real girl in red whose beauty becomes my inspiration for this poetry. Inspirations can come at any time. I just have to know :P
